Got one from my father whaen I was about 12 years old. You can imagine the commotion it made among both my peers and adults in those communist times! :-D I remember calling random numbers from a phone book (who remembers phone books?!?) and playing some simple sh** on the VL-Tone, afterwards saying: "You, too, can become Vangelis!" 😁🤣 Pity that in the years that followed, I must have either thrown it away or given it to someone... if only I knew that such soundscapes could be achieved just by using this simple tiny devil...

I have the OG tracker and the tracker mini, Was thinking about the tracker+ but instead I got a Synthstrom Deluge(oled version) for a bit less money(£750 as opposed to £799). I decided I was happy with the Polyend trackers that I have, and I have wanted a Deluge since they first came out but could never afford one until now. If I find I don't get on with the Deluge I know I can easily sell it because they are always in demand, and the tracker+ will be available for at least the next few years and by then most of the bugs(Polyend gear always has bugs) will be sorted. Also I'm fed up of being a beta tester!

Hey David, awesome video as always. I've seen this unit can go into a eurorack case, and I'm curious, do you happen to know about how it might be powered in this instance? From what I can tell it has a 9 volt power socket, so I'm wondering how it could be connected to a eurorack power system. Do you think it might be need special soldering? This is one of those synths you buy, use once, then never use again. Every synth I ever got that required plugging things into and out of became a nice paper weight eventually. If I can't save presets, I'm not buying it. Especially something so complex.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I could hear this instrument - Especially the sample song that was included. Hours and hours of me playing this as a kid - my poor grandma finally sent it home with me, probably so only my mom had to hear it!
